Special Needs Fun Night

Friday, April 20th
6:00-8:30 pm

The SPC Special Needs Ministry is hosting our next Fun Night for people of all ages with special needs in McNamee Hall on Friday, April 20th, from 6:00-8:30 PM. Admission is FREE! Pizza and lemonade will be provided. Arts and crafts, music, dancing and board games will be available for everyone. There will also be a sensory break room open throughout the event.


For your child to participate in Fun Night, please complete these two easy steps:

First Communion Cookies

Friday, April 27th - drop off by 5:00 pm

Our next group of children will be celebrating First Communion on Saturday, April 28th. We would love to have your help in providing “edible blessings” for their reception. First Communion Masses are at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and will be followed by cake and cookie receptions—all are welcome to attend! If you would like to donate homemade cookies, please complete the online sign-up form to help us honor our First Communicants and their families. Confirmation candidates who are interested in baking cookies may count this as a 'Service to Parish' project. Cookie donations may be dropped off in the in the butler's pantry anytime from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, April 27th. First Communion Volunteers

Saturday, April 28th

Parents and high school teens are needed to help at the First Communion receptions on Saturday, April 28. We simply offer cookies and drinks, so help is needed to both set-up and clean-up. This may be counted as a'Service to Parish for Confirmation or used for school service hours. Space is limited, so please sign up in advance. VBS Hero Central

Monday-Friday, June 11th-15th
Registration opens at 9:00 am on Monday, March 26th!

Join us on awesome adventures alongside some of your favorite Bible heroes and discover the qualities that make us truly heroic in God. VBS Hero Central uses epic music, spectacular science, crafty crafts, heroic recreation, and fantastic Bible stories to help kids (and leaders) discover their strength in God! Vacation Bible School is open to children who are entering kindergarten through 5th grade. Preschoolers will be accepted as a courtesy to parents of full-time (all week) Adult Volunteers. (Preschoolers will participate in age-appropiate VBS activities.) Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to Noon for children entering Grades K-5. Online registration opens Monday, March 26th for campers, adult volunteers and teen volunteers.

Teens & Adults are needed for
Decorating Week: June 6th-8th

Camper Fees: $45/child or $100 max/family (3+ children) 

Adult Volunteer Fees: Full-time (all week) Adult Volunteers qualify for reduced fees of $25/camper or $60 max/family (3+ children).  

Youth Volunteers: A limited number of Youth Volunteers are needed. You must be able to be there every morning of VBS Week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Volunteer spots are open to rising 9th-12th graders. Rising middle school youth (6th, 7th and 8th grade) may volunteer ONLY if they have a parent volunteering for the entire week of VBS.

Middle School Mission Camp

Thursday-Sunday, June 3rd-7th

Middle School Service Camp is a one-week day camp where youth use their time and talent to provide hands' on service to local agencies. (A schedule of locations will be released once finalized). Thursday of camp week is our fun day! This camp is open to all parish youth who will be entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the Fall of 2018. Adult and teen volunteers are needed. NOTE: At least one parent of each child is expected to volunteer one day of service during the camp week. We ask that all adult volunteers have a current Background Screening on file and have completed the VIRTUS traning. CLOW & Nursery Volunteers Needed

Sundays, September-May
9:00 & 10:45 am Masses

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) has started back up for the Fall, but we are in need of adult volunteers to join a team. We are especially in need of volunteers for the 10:45 am Mass! Volunteers work together ONE Sunday a month (about 10 times a year), and all training and materials are provided. Musicians (vocals, piano, guitar) are also needed. We are also in very great need of Nursery Volunteers. Typically, parents who use the nursery are asked to help out one Sunday per month.
